Love You Still

Love you Still

I thinks it’s  appropriate to feature this stamp set today because it’s my 30th wedding anniversary!  Jim and I were married February 6, 1988 and it is so very true, I love him still, in fact even more, way more than I did so many years ago.  You can read all about that in From my Heart to Yours. ‘This basic, ink-to-paper, Stampin’ technique is so fun, quick and easy!  Really, it is!  You must try it and I promise you will agree.  There is great satisfaction when stamping images using black ink and then using additional stamps and ink to color it in.  It’s an easy two step process that I have enjoyed for over 25 years now.

Adding in some texture to the Powder Pink Cardstock using Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing folders is just the right touch to accent this delicate image.  If you haven’t used any of our Embossing Folders you are missing out.  The one that was used in this card may be found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog on page 23 but you can find more than a dozen additional choices in the Annual 2017/2018 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.

‘The Celebrate die cut from the Celebrate You Thinlet Dies found in the Sale-a-bration brochure captures the recipients attention and the white Organza ribbon combined with the linen thread ties everything together nicely.  You can’t go wrong with ribbon and linen thread.  I tied a bow but you can change it up and just tie a knot.

This card would work well for a Wedding or  Anniversary Card.  Change the sentiment to Thank you, and you have a lovely thank you card from the bride and groom. Why not make a bunch of these, add some postage stamps, place in a cute box or bag and you have a lovely gift for your next bridal shower.
