Summer Learning curve!
Summer time is a great time to learn a new skill, pick up a creative hobby, or try something totally out of your comfort zone.
Allison, age 10, has had some challenges with learning to write; however, in the last few months her fine motor skills have started to kick in. A few weeks ago she asked me if she could try to learn to write cursive once again. We have tried several times in the past, and it typically lead to frustration and tears for my spunky little red head. She has challenges not only with fine motor skills but also with depth perception, so between those two factors, it seems like an near impossiblity to master the skill of handwriting. When she asked on her own, I thought I better jump on it. Then I had the brilliant idea (yes, it happens once in awhile) that I should start her off with a bit of fun to calm the nerves, to reduce the stress and to give this new skill building some purpose.

Calligraphy Essentials Project Kit
Allison enjoyed practicing using the practice sheets that come in the Project Kit. Then when she felt comfortable with that, she stamped her image and completed her masterpiece. Now she has a cute Hello card to use her cursive writing skills in when she writes a note to a sister or friend.
Whether you are a beginner with Calligraphy or a pro, I think you are going to enjoy this new kit found in the NEW Annual Catalog! Be sure to contact me to get your own person copy today.
