Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live in Orlando, Florida
I just returned from OnStage Live and had a fabulous time with stampin’ friends from all over the globe. Some of these dear sister stampers I have know now for over 26 years! It’s like a beloved family reunion when we all get together. This year was Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary and the party favor were fabulous!
All About Relationships
For me, one of my favorite aspects of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is relationships. Spending time together stampin’, learning new techniques, and catching up on life is priceless and well worth the time and money going to one of these special events.
What’s a downline, Upline, and Sideline
First of all, downline, upline and sidelines are all stampin’ friends. In the Stampin’ Up! world, when one recruits someone to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, the one who is recruited is called their first level in the downline, and the one who did the recruiting is the up-line. We have three levels in our personal Stampin’ Up! Family which may be described like this: if I recruit someone, I would be the “mom”; when my “child” recruits someone I am the grandma to that new recruit; and when he or she recruits, I am the great-grandma to that new one. A sideline is a Stampin’ friend who is a demonstrator that is not in our personal “family” of stampers.
Three generations of Stampers featured in this photo. Jill Olson is my upline. Amy Combs and Annabelle Cronk are my direct recruits aka first level downline, Melissa Johnson and Paggy Wu are second level downline. (Not featured in this photo is a third level downline.)
Preious moments
I was honored to spend time with my upline, downline and sidelines at OnStage 2018. With each passing year, they become more and more precious to me. Like I mentioned before, we spent time stampin’, learning, growing, and laughing together until our sides ached. It was a blast!
You can imagine why this is my very favorite reason for being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. 😊 Too see more photos, feel free to check out my Facebook page.
Opportunity for you
One thing that I noticed at this event is that there is an age group that was not very well represented. You could probably tell just by looking through my photos. I would love the opportunity to pass along what I have learned over the last 26 years working with this exceptional company. If you or someone you know is looking for a creative way to support their love of crafting, or looking to have a part or full time “job” (I put job in quotes because it’s so much fun), all while enjoying the perks of discounts, creative gatherings and wonderful friends, please consider joining my team – Stampin’ from the Heart! ❤️ Contact me, and I will pass along the information. And don’t worry, no hard selling here. I like to share this opportunity as I would share from a plate of cookies. Some say, “yes, please,” and others decline. Both responses are respected and valued.
