Since My family and I have temporarily moved to Connecticut to house sit for my niece, I have been getting to experience what a long distance grandma needs to do to help stay connected to her grand kids – love mail and care packages! One might think that sending letters/cards via snail mail is archaic, like back in the Dino Days, but for me, it’s the next best thing to being there and I am having so much fun preparing the cards and packages. I think I will continue, whether near or far and having these two new Stampin’ Up! stamp sets are working perfectly to use for my grands! Dino Days and Wiggle Worms.
Wiggle Worms
In this last weeks love package I included a couple of bookmarks (see above slide show) that I stamped for the most darling little wiggle worms on the face of this earth. This grandma doesn’t mess around. Not only will this appeal to my grand boys, because of the cute little bugs stamped all over it, but their momma, who is crazy about books, will love it too since it will encourage her little book worms to spend some time doing what she loves so much, reading!
I played around with the Dino Days stamp set today and let me tell you that I had so much fun! I love how the DSP has images that may be cut out using the Dino Dies, and how the Dinoroar Enamel Shapes embellish my cards so nicely! This stamp set will be my go to for next months care package!
