Hello Cupcake

During this season of change for my family, having the time to sit down and blog has not been a piece of cake. However, today I thought I would sit down with a cuppa coffee and reconnect with you, my Stampin’ buddies.

Our family has been packing up our house for weeks on end preparing for a big move from Friendswood, Texas to Higganum, Connecticut. In between the chaos of boxes galore, we have been traveling long distances (5,700+ miles) to celebrate milestone birthdays (my mother-in-law’s 80th and my husband’s 60th) and we were blessed to witness a sweet couple make their wedding vows.

This is our last week living in our Friendswood home. We have been blessed beyond measure here and it is certainly a bittersweet time. Although we are so sad to say goodbye to sweet friends and all things familiar, we are excited for all the Lord has for us while we house sit for my niece for the next couple of years in beautiful Higganum, Connecticut.

Despite all the work that goes along with moving a family across the country, I took a little break, more like my own personal therapy session, and stamped a few cards. There is just something so satisfying when ink meets paper! Preparing for a Stampin’ event that will be held in CT on March 23rd gives me something to look forward to and is really helping me to make this transition. As I am preparing for that event I am experimenting with birthday cards since the theme of my event is a Birthday Bingo Celebration.

Hello Cupcake is one of the beautiful options that is available for free to those who purchase $50 of Stampin’ Up! product from now until March 30th. I just love the simplicity of this card. It’s clean, fresh, cute and so easy to put together. Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to plan cards with all the pre-coordinatinating that they do for us. The Gingham Gala Suite found on page 34-36 in the Occassions Catalog is just one example of this courtesy.

I would love to see what you are creating with this suite! Send me a picture of one of your creations!

Sign up for my email and you will recieve a card from me using the gingham gala suite.

Sue I will be praying for your travel. May God bless each of you as you move. I love the cup cake set. I wish I had known about it when I placed my order over $50.00. I will be making another order In a couple of weeks.
